Product Update: Direct posting to Facebook Groups will no longer be available on Crowfire

On 23rd January 2024, Meta announced a few changes on the platform.
They are updating tools for advertisers, and released a new version of their software called “Facebook Graph API v19.0” and “Marketing API v19.0”.
These changes are designed to make advertising on Facebook more effective and easier for businesses.

But a few things have to go out with the new changes coming in. Some older features of Facebook’s advertising tools are being removed or changed and one of them is the “Direct posting” API being deprecated.

But what changes on Crowdfire?

Since Facebook’s Groups API is being deprecated, direct posting to Facebook groups will no longer be available via Crowdfire.

How would posting to groups work?

Posting to Facebook groups will work differently on Crowdfire from 22nd April 2024.

When you schedule a post to Facebook Groups, Crowdfire will remind you about it with a notification on your phone. It opens the Facebook Group and copies your caption to the clipboard.
All you have to do is paste the caption and post!

Also, to post to the Facebook Group, you must install the latest versions of Crowdfire and Facebook apps on your mobile.

That’s it, folks 🙌
Stay tuned for further updates!
