How to schedule Instagram and IGTV posts using Creator Studio

If you’ve not heard about Instagram Creator Studio, let me tell you a little more about it.

What is Instagram Creator Studio

Instagram creator studio, just like Facebook Creator Studio was introduced by Facebook to help Creators work more efficiently. Facebook focuses on Creators because these creators create content and have built strong communities on Facebook as well as Instagram. They run the show! That’s why helping them create more, create better and simplify their process is something Facebook focuses on.

According to Facebook, “Creator Studio brings together all the tools creators need to effectively post, monetize, track performance and interact with fans in one single place.”

Where can I find Instagram Creator Studio?

Instagram Creator Studio is available only on the desktop version. You can find it here.

Though Creator Studio feels like it’s focused on Creators only, you can use it by converting your Instagram account to a business or a creator account.

Connect your Instagram account to Creator Studio

To manage your Instagram in Creator Studio, go to Creator Studio and click , located next to  at the top of your screen.

How to schedule Instagram and IGTV posts using Creator Studio

Schedule Instagram post

1. Click on Create Post at top left.
2. Select Instagram feed.
3. Add image, caption, location etc.
4. You can also choose to share the same image on your Facebook page.
5. You can publish now, schedule for later or save as draft.

Schedule IGTV post

1. Click on Create Post at top left.
2. Select IGTV.
3. Upload video, add title and description.
4. You can add a custom cover image as well.
5. You can publish now, schedule for later or save as draft.

How to crop images for Instagram feed on Creator Studio

1. Create post
2. Click on three dots below the image
3. Click on crop
4. Choose square, vertical or lanscape cropping option
5. Save
