Top 10 affiliate marketing programs

Posted by

Firstly, what is Affiliate Marketing? Oxford defines it as ‘a marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals.’

Affiliate Marketing is one of the easiest marketing programs one can join and earn from. It’s best for influencers since they already have a big following but really it will benefit almost anyone who is willing to use their creative juices on this.

The affiliate programs I’ll be listing here all have varying rewards, resources, and payout methods. And I’ll be giving you all this information right here. 🙂

1. Crowdfire

Crowdfires’ Affiliate Program is supported by PartnerStack, a leading affiliate marketing platform. With their program, you can earn up to $420 for every customer you bring in. It’s a 35% commission on any subscription purchased via your affiliate link. But this only applies to the payments made in the 1st year that your clients purchase subscriptions.

If your client purchases a yearly plan, you’ll get 35% of the payment as soon as the purchase is made. If they purchase a monthly plan, you’ll get 35% of every payment they make for the next 12 months.

They don’t have any resources uploaded on the dashboard but they do provide some tips in this blog article.

Their payout system is pretty fair. You can withdraw your Rewards to your PayPal as long as you have a minimum of $50 collected.

2. Shopify

Shopifys’ Affiliate Program is supported by Impact. You have to submit an application and once approved, you also have to sign up on Impact to get your affiliate link. There are some requirements to apply for this program and some of them include owning and running an active business, and you must have experience using Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

They have a lot of resources that cover topics like how to convert traffic, content creation, and lots more. They call these growth guides and you can find them here.

You get a flat $100 for every qualified referral. Payouts are done using Impact and you need to have at least $10 in your account before you’re allowed to withdraw.

3. Amazon

Amazon Associates is Amazon’s affiliate marketing program. Since Amazon is the biggest marketplace in the world, there are countless opportunities to earn here. You can share qualified products and programs from Amazon using a customized referral link. You can earn up to 10% from affiliate fees for each of the products or programs purchased through your link.

They have a lot of resources but there isn’t any readily available information about their payout system. You can get other details here.

4. Hubspot

Hubspot’s Affiliate Program is also supported by Impact. Once you click on the Sign-Up button, you’ll be redirected to Impact to fill in your application form. Once the application is screened, and if you’re approved, you’ll be notified via email.

You can choose between 2 commission rates. Either a recurring 15% on monthly payments up to the first year. Or a flat 100% on just the first month’s revenue.

Hubspot will provide you with marketing resources. But as for the payout methods, there isn’t any information readily available.

5. eBay

eBays Partner Network allows you to earn by driving traffic to eBay. You earn via qualified transactions on eBay and those transactions occur when an end user makes a purchase within 24 hours after clicking your affiliate link for a “Buy It Now” item or when an end user places a bid on an auction within 24 hours after clicking your affiliate link and then wins that auction within 10 days.

They have a Rate Card for commissions based on Product Categories.

They also offer a lot of resources and tools to improve your marketing campaigns. You can read more here — https://partnernetwork.ebay.com/hub/solutions

6. Coursera

Coursera’s Affiliate Program is also supported by Impact. Once you click on the Sign-Up button, you’ll be redirected to Impact to fill in your application form. You can earn from any course or specialization purchased via your affiliate link. Each commission is between 10%-45% depending on the course.
You also get bonus earnings for strong performance.

The commissions are only earned on the 1st purchase, so if there’s a recurring payment for the same course, you only earn on the 1st purchase. However, if the same user uses your link to purchase a different course or specialization, you’ll earn on that first purchase too.

They have professionally designed and created Coursera banners and text links that you can use in your marketing content.

There is no readily available information regarding payout methods.

7. Liquid Web

Liquid Webs Affiliate Program is also supported by Impact. They’ve come together to form Impact Radius where, although powered by Impact, registrations and tracking all happen within Liquid Web.

You can earn 150%, with a minimum of $150, of the first monthly payment when purchased via your referral link. They also have a refer a friend program where, if you’re already a Liquid Web user, you can share a referral code and on a qualified purchase, you’ll get $100 worth of hosting credits added to your account.

They offer a library of banner ads and links to add to your marketing content. And as an affiliate, you get access to advance notices of sales and promotions.

Approved transactions are paid 15 days after the end of the day they lock

8. ConvertKit

ConvertKits Affiliate Program is supported by LinkMink. Anyone can join this program and the sign-up process is pretty simple and straightforward. You earn a 30% commission for up to 24 months for users who purchase on ConvertKit using your affiliate link.

They offer a lot in terms of resources too. There’s a training course, graphics and video assets to create your content, evergreen webinars, and a dashboard to track your progress.

There is no information readily available regarding payout methods.
